The Metiers d���Art show was launched in 2003 as a homage to the French label���s workshop, with high-end couture collections. Previous shows have been named Paris-Byzance, Paris-Shanghai and Paris-Moscow. The Paris-Bombay collection was presented in December 2011 at the Grand Palais and is a tribute to the Maharajah culture. Karl Lagerfeld was inspired by the Indian culture but had actually never travelled to India
